It was a ... interesting night of premier league action. Here are the scores.
Bolton 1-0 Burnley
Bolton's new boss (Owen Coyle) has got Bolton winning games again. It's a little ironic that one of those games was against his old club (Burnley). He has succeeded in kicking new life into Bolton, and that's why Bolton took victory at the Reebok Stadium, (but also because of a Chung-Yong Lee goal).
Portsmouth 1-1 West Ham
I said three days ago on my blog that Portsmouth were coming out of the dark ages, this was more evidence of that. West Ham have been a rather decent side ever since Gianfranco Zola (another great Chelsea man) became manager. So, it's nice to see that Portsmouth haven't given in, and that they will fight to stay in the premier league.
Tottenham 2-0 Fulham
This one was obvious. Team on great form versus team on crap form. Result, the team on good form wins by two goals or more. Tottenham, I hope we see you in the Champions league next season.
Wolves 0-0 Liverpool
Any idiot of a team can draw with Liverpool nowadays. Liverpool need to get rid of Rafa Benitez if they even vaguely want to reach Europe. For Wolves, they can be very happy after that result. Liverpool, the results you guys are getting, compared to the players you have, are just SAD.
Premier League predictions for tommorow...
Chelsea 3-2 Birmingham
Aston Villa 2-1 Arsenal
Everton 1-2 Sunderland
Blackburn 1-1 Wigan
and the Carling cup semi-final prediction for tommorow...
Man. United 2-1 Man. City (AET) 5-6 on penalties.
Au Revoir.
